2024 Contest Theme: Connection Matters

All photos must focus on and promote positive mental health.
The Clark County Children's Mental Health Consortium (CCCMHC) is hosting a youth photo contest to promote Children’s Mental Health Acceptance Month: May 2024. The purpose of this contest is to encourage youth throughout Southern Nevada to express their creativity to help raise awareness about mental health.
 
Winners will be announced in April 2024. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners!
Additional prizes may be awarded! 

1st Place: $200 gift card!
2nd Place:$100 prize!
3rd Place: $75 prize!

Submission Instructions

DEADLINE: January 30th, 2024
 

Eligible participants may submit their entries HERE and will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Full names of the participant

  • Contact information of the participant 

  • The photo with a brief statement on why "connection matters"

  • Signed release form(s) uploaded as attachments

Contest Rules& Eligibility 

To enter the contest you must agree to these official rules. Photo submissions that do not abide by these rules will be disqualified.
This is a youth video contest; only photos produced by individuals aged 24 and younger are eligible.

All photographs must meet the following standards:
  • All submitted photos must be high-resolution: at least 300dpi or 1400x1050.

  • Entries must be original artwork, no copyrighted material.

  • Contestants may submit no more than 3 entries. A complete entry includes 1 photo and 1 statement.

  • Each entry must be accompanied by a statement from the contestant about how the image relates to why connection matters and how that positively affects mental health. Statements should be no longer than 50 words.

  • Entries will be displayed publicly to all ages, and so should be respectful of others. Avoid bad language or other inappropriate language or images.

  • All entries will be submitted digitally as a JPEG or PNG file.

  • Any text included must be in a size and font that is easy to read

  • Parents and teachers may submit an entry on a youth’s behalf.

Release Forms:

Each participant must submit a signed Image Release Form. In addition, all individuals who appear in the photo must submit a signed Image Release Form. These must be scanned and uploaded in the submission form. Entrants under 18 years old must have their forms signed by a parent or guardian.
