CONSORTIUM WORKGROUPS:
Workgroups are comprised of professionals and community members who focus on specific topics and projects within CCCMHC. See descriptions of each Workgroup below. ​
EARLY INTERVENTION & CRISIS INTERVENTION
Chair: Jackie Harris, Resiliency & Justice Center
This workgroup reviews the most critical and urgent needs and strategies for effective mental health crisis intervention, including discussion of local and statewide mobile crisis services, residential and transitional services for youth and their families, and other pressing needs related to both early intervention and crisis intervention.
INFRASTRUCTURE & COORDINATION
Chair: Karen Taycher, Nevada Parents Encouraging Parents
This workgroup reviews the work plans and priorities for the Clark County Children's Mental Health Consortium, including legislative issues impacting the children's mental health, development of the required annual report and 10 year strategic plan, and a variety of other current issues that impact youth mental and behavioral health in Clark County.
PUBLIC AWARENESS & BEHAVIORAL WELLNESS
Chair: Amanda Haboush-Deloye, Nevada Institute for Children's Research & Policy
This workgroup is responsible for planning and carrying out activities associated with increasing awareness around mental and behavioral health for children and families. Some of the activities include planning efforts for Children' Mental Health Acceptance Day/Week in May, local and state policy days, annual awareness contest for youth, and planning the annual Children's Mental health Summit.
